During my time at Jackson Family Wines, K-J Avant was created as a new wine targeting “Mature Millenials” (myself included?) Their unique marketing campaign and accompanying creative was developed with the help of SF creative shop, Heat. As part of the in-house digital and social team at JFW, I was involved in various parts of their campaign strategy including: design of the K-J Avant campaign microsite, social media promotions and continuing to update the Kendall-Jackson (parent) website with newly designed banners, etc.

The campaign focuses on spontaneous moments with friends to position K-J Avant as being the “right wine for right now.” Essentially, the campaign reflects that no matter where millennials live – the streets of San Francisco or the suburbs of Detroit—they can now drink a wine from the coastal vineyards of California that’s handcrafted and sold at an affordable price point; the wine retails between $13 - $17. The brand will also promote K-J’s history of quality and integrity.

Seventeen miles off the coast of San Diego rest four rocky islands, Las Yslas Coronadas. Translated to mean “the crowned ones,” the City of Coronado derived its name from these nearby islands. Inspired by its cultural and historic roots, the crown logo for Coronado Beach Fit also symbolizes the achievement of mind over body. Empowerment. Victory. The power of YOU. Coronado Beach Fit believes fitness is for life—providing an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for their guests to meet their weight-loss goals, enjoy their vacation, and take their lives back.

The branding for Coronado Beach Fit mirrors its inviting nature with a fresh, clean aesthetic, and bright, candid photography. Working closely with their in-house team—we brainstormed ideas, developed moodboards and worked to translate their vision into a tangible style guide with a blueprint and pillars. CBF’s website is an extension of their brand, built in Sketch for mobile and desktop—it allows customers to earn confidence through their online service, excellent user experience, testimonials and online booking system.

Working with a great team of developers, photographers, and brand management, I was responsible for designing the coming soon web page, main website design, logo concept and creation, and exterior signage for Partake by K-J in Healdsburg, CA. This included moodboards and concepting, illustrations by hand, manipulating photos in photoshop, user interface design, etc.

After decades of focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, La Crema is adding Monterey Pinot Gris to it's lineup of cool-climate varietals. Bright and balanced, this wine opens with aromas of fresh white peach, Meyer lemon and subtle floral hints. The lush palate is layered with flavors of ripe pear, yellow plum, baking spice and exotic tropical notes. Mineral undertones are evident in the lengthy finish, further defining this wine as classic Monterey.
